Senior Operations Supervisor

Looking for your next leadership move in logistics? Join Team Global Express as our Senior Operations Supervisor at our Palletised Express depot in Townsville and take charge of day-to-day site operations while driving safety, service, and team performance.

You'll lead a busy site, manage a large team, and play a key role in delivering reliable, efficient freight services to our customers in North Queensland.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Overseeing daily site operations – inbound, outbound, local fleet, and contractors

• Leading and developing a team of 45+ staff and supervisors

• Managing performance, costs, KPIs, and compliance

• Ensuring WHS, NHVAS, fatigue, and DG standards are met

• Working closely with the Branch Manager to improve service, safety, and efficiency

• Building relationships with customers, suppliers, and the wider community

What You'll Bring:

• Experience running or managing depot/transport operations

• Strong leadership skills with a focus on safety and people

• Good understanding of transport compliance and logistics processes

• Ability to manage budgets, rosters, and performance targets

• Solid communication and problem-solving skills

• A proactive, hands-on approach
