About the role

Cowboys Leagues Club is seeking an enthusiastic andexperienced Café Supervisor to join our team at the Podium Café, Hutchinson's Builders Centre.

This full-time permanent role plays an essential part in ensuring the highest quality customer services are provided to all guests of the café.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering exceptional customer care at every touch point
• Lead a small team of staff, overseeing daily tasks to ensure smooth operations
• Maintaining high standards of food and beverage presentation and display
• Operating point-of-sale system and reporting responsibilities
• Completing reporting requirements for food services, facilities, staffing and finance
• Ensuring compliance to all health and safety regulations and relevant standards
• Handling escalations and guaranteeing prompt and professional customer-focused solutions

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working within a café or Front of House with food handling and minor preparation environment
• Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead and inspire a team
• A strong commitment to hygiene and safety in food service standards
• Excellent food and beverage service and presentation skills
• The ability to carry out duties in a timely and effective manner.
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and multitask
• A strong track record of delivering outstanding customer service
• Excellent grooming standards
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Food Safety Supervisor Certification OR willing to complete upon successful interview and pre-employment checks for this role
• Commitment to following working roster of Monday to Friday, with a 6:00am start time
