Position Overview

The Bids & Proposal Coordinator supports the preparation of high-quality proposals for the QLD business while providing overflow capacity to the national bids function. This role enhances submission quality, strengthens processes, and builds capability to contribute to more strategic pursuits over time.

The position supports the development of compelling project sheets, tailored bid content, and other proposal content to enhance the company's positioning across target sectors and strengthen client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and produce high-quality submissions for QLD & National clients
  • Strengthen proposal processes, to improve efficiency and win rates
  • Understand our clients and help to develop strategies that demonstrate a clear understanding of client needs so proposals can be tailored.
  • Improve proposal quality, to continuously improve the quality and relevance of bid content
  • Support business development tools, and contribute to business development initiatives
  • Guide strategic decisions, refining the Go/No Go process to focus efforts on opportunities aligned with WT's vision and strengths
  • Champion Best Practice
  • Provide admin and overflow support to the National Bids & Proposal Lead on major pursuits
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining the national bid toolkit and templates

About You

  • Ideally 2–4 years in bids/proposals, within professional services, building/construction or similar industry, with demonstrated ability to coordinate pursuits and independently manage submissions
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and preparing proposals, EOIs, and tenders
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • Familiarity with government and private sector procurement processes
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar)
  • Strong writing, editing, and document formatting skills
  • Understanding of brand consistency and visual communication principles
