We are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists who are interested in opportunities outside of metropolitan areas in Australia. We have numerous locations available, including the beautiful city of Bundaberg.
This position is open to both Australian residents and international applicants who possess a qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist you will play a pivotal role in helping clients develop, recover, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, client-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
- Develop individualised treatment plans and goals tailored to each client's needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor progress.
- Educate clients and their families about strategies and techniques to support independence and improve quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current registration with AHPRA or eligible to apply (completed stage 1 desktop assessment)
- English exam.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy
