We currently consist of 2 Occupational Therapist, soon to be 3 upon their registration at the end of the year and Allied Health Assistants. About the Role:

  • Senior Occupational Therapist with 4+ years experience
  • Full Time position
  • Clinical Supervision & Mentorship

    Provide supervision, coaching, and professional development support to junior occupational therapists and allied health assistants.
  • Service Development & Innovation

    Lead initiatives to improve service delivery, implement best practices, and contribute to strategic planning within the allied health team.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance

    Ensure clinical documentation, assessments, and interventions meet professional standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. NDIS Practice Standards).
  • Team Leadership

    Act as a senior member of the multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration, resolving clinical challenges, and promoting a positive team culture.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, support coordinators, and external providers to ensure integrated care.
  • Training & Education

    Develop and deliver internal training sessions and onboarding programs for new staff.
  • Outcome Measurement & Reporting

    Monitor client outcomes, contribute to data collection and reporting, and support continuous improvement through evidence-based practice.
  • Clinical Governance Participation

    Contribute to clinical governance activities such as audits, incident reviews, and policy development.
  • Manage a reduced caseload of participants ranging from early childhood to older adulthood who may present with increasing complexity, multiple co-morbidities and functional limitations
  • Assessing and providing intervention to children and adults living with disabilities in the Bundaberg region (and surrounds) to provide evidence based, personal centered assessment, clinical management and intervention

  • Valid and current First Aid and CPR Certification

  • Must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals Module
