Bakery Assistant

About the Company:

We are a proudly independently owned supermarket, established in December 2023. The store is located at the heart of the developing Alira Berwick Estate. Inside our modern store, it features a liquor department, freshly baked daily goods, hot foods, coffee, slurpee, and a yet to open deli. Our new and developing neighbours include child care, chemist, restaurants and dentist, just to name a few.

Your daily duties:

• baking bread and sweets from frozen
• baking meat products
• ordering bakery products
• defrosting stock for next day
• dating defrosted sweets
• bagging and displaying products
• ensure stock displayed are at the right price

Who we are looking for:

• someone who is dedicated and completes every task to a high standard
• autonomous
• attention to detail
• available to work early mornings

Skills and experience:

• minimum 1 year working as a bakery assistant
• bakery and food safety certifications preferred
• previous kitchen experience preferred
• working in a demanding, fast paced environment
