Bakery Assistant

About the Company:
We are a proudly independently owned supermarket, established in December 2023. The store is located at the heart of the developing Alira Berwick Estate. Inside our modern store, it features a liquor department, freshly baked daily goods, hot foods, coffee, slurpee, and a yet to open deli. Our new and developing neighbours include child care, chemist, restaurants and dentist, just to name a few.

Your daily duties:

- baking bread and sweets from frozen
- baking meat products
- ordering bakery products
- defrosting stock for next day
- dating defrosted sweets
- bagging and displaying products
- ensure stock displayed are at the right price

Who we are looking for:

- someone who is dedicated and completes every task to a high standard
- autonomous
- attention to detail
- available to work early mornings

Skills and experience:

- minimum 1 year working as a bakery assistant
- bakery and food safety certifications preferred
- previous kitchen experience preferred
- working in a demanding, fast paced environment
