Blanc Bakery is a family owned, local bakery in the heart of Berwick that started in December 2021. Since the day we opened, our bakery has been going from strength to strength and it is time to grow our production team and have another Qualified Baker come into the mix.
We specialize in Sourdough bread and croissants using the best, locally sourced ingredients following traditional baking methods. We are looking for someone to join our team in a full-time capacity that has the right skills, experience and attitude to grow with our business.
Reporting to the Directors of Blanc Bakery you will be required to do the following:
- Mixing, dividing, shaping & baking bread/ croissants
- Weighing of ingredients and other food preparation in line with our product range
- Baking off using rack and deck ovens
- Stock management and ordering where required
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Have sound numeracy skills
- Have excellent both written and verbal communication skills
- Quality control and continuous product improvement/ development
- Assist with other production duties where required
At Blanc Bakery you will work a 5 day a week roster that is morning shift only. We are looking for someone who is passionate about bread like we are and looking to grow their baking career in a fun and friendly environment where your creativity is encouraged. The business is currently going through a growth phase so there are plenty of opportunities for the right people
