Galaxy Music is an independent record label and creative collective based in Melbourne, developing a new wave of alt-pop artists with voices that deserve to be heard.

We produce, release, and promote music that's real - no gimmicks, no ego - just great songs and genuine people.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a
Digital Content & Storytelling Intern
to help us bring the Galaxy story - and our artists' stories — to life across social and digital channels.

If you love music, culture, and creating scroll-stopping content, this is your chance to learn how storytelling, creativity, and community combine inside an indie label.

You'll work alongside our founder
Lee "Jonesy" Jones
and the Galaxy artist roster - shaping campaigns, documenting live sessions, and finding new ways to connect with audiences who crave authenticity.

What You'll Do

  • Capture and edit behind-the-scenes content (rehearsals, studio sessions, live gigs)
  • Produce short-form videos, social reels, and visual stories for Galaxy and our artists
  • Help build content calendars and brainstorm creative campaign ideas
  • Write engaging captions, micro-stories, and artist spotlights
  • Support release launches and community events with visual storytelling

Who You Are

  • Studying or recently graduated in
    Media, Communications, Digital Marketing, Film, or Design
  • Skilled in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve) and comfortable creating for TikTok, Instagram & YouTube
  • A strong visual thinker who understands trends and storytelling
  • Passionate about emerging music, creative culture, and authenticity online
