Advance Wealth Group is a financial planning group with over 30 years of experience. We are looking to appoint a Personal Assistant / Financial Planning Assistant to support the Senior Financial Adviser.

About the role

This role is very diverse and integral in supporting our team to achieve the objectives of the client and the business. You will be working as part of a professionally qualified and highly experienced team within a supportive culture. We are offering 20 hours per week and can be flexible in scheduling to support applicant.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the adviser to implement advice for a portfolio of clients;
  • Assist the principal adviser with maintaining client communications, book existing client reviews, document collection, appointment schedules/confirmations, updates to files;
  • Prepare client annual review documentation and scheduling appointments;
  • Completing all required documentation to implement the client's recommended strategies;
  • Assisting with completing and lodging personal insurance applications;
  • Facilitating rollovers of superannuation benefits;
  • Liaising with clients to answer any general queries and liaise with insurance providers;
  • Providing ongoing support to clients and the team.

To be successful for the role of Personal Assistant / Finacial Planning Assistant you will have;

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • It would be advantageous to have a proven track record in client support within the financial planning industry and you are passionate about delivering outstanding results.
  • Ability to act autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Driven and motivated to succeed.
  • Experience using Word and strong computer skills are essential.
  • Assisting with non-complex financial advice documents.
