Tree Amigos Tree Surgeons P/L is seeking a bookkeeper to assist in the day to day running of our busy Company. This role would suit someone who is dynamic, honest, efficient, self-motivated, down to earth with some good old-fashioned common sense. Potentially suit someone with less than full time availability.
Tree Amigos Accounts Officer is a part time position , Tuesday - Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm, with a half hour for lunch. This role is easily achieved in the three days part time. The right person could increase this to a full time Mon-Friday position by undertaking additional admin / business development tasks for the remaining two days . There may be a requirement for extended hours during busy periods, including covering office annual leave & assisting with administration when required.
Located in Wangara, Tree Amigos, which consists of 16 employees, performs arboricultural services (tree lopping) such as pruning, removal, stump grinding, mulching and more. Established in 1998, we currently work for Local Government Councils, the Corporate sector, Universities, TAFE's etc & the private sector.
You will be required to work alongside the Director, who is extremely hard working and focused on achieving short- and long-term goals.
This role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to be involved in the development and growth of our Company. We are implementing a Quality Management System (Integrated Management System - IMS) consisting of new policies, procedures and operating systems, to assist in the smooth operation of our company whilst perform high quality work, with the aim to be Quality Assured. It is essential that the right candidate understands the needs of a small Company, has the drive to complete short- and long-term goals in appropriate time frames and is flexible to cover other team members within the organisation when required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.
Required Skills;
- Advanced XERO Skills.
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Advanced Work Skills .
Work Experience
• Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar role
Responsibilities
• Payroll, including employee onboarding
• Superannuation monthly contributions.
• Reconciliations of bank, credit card, loans and other Balance Sheet accounts
• Create and issue sales invoicing
• Manage Accounts Payable
• Manage Accounts Receivable
• End to End Bookkeeping, with absolute attention to detail.
• Ability to confidently liaise with and manage clients, contractors, employees & suppliers.
• Excellent organisational skills, time management & self-motivated.
• Ability to work and perform under pressure.
• Flexibility to work longer hours during tendering process.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a tight knit team environment.
• Ad hoc bookkeeping tasks and administration tasks as required.
• Ability to prepare all accounts ready for BAS preparation & submission.
• General Admin duties i.e.; answering phones, filing, systems management etc.
• General Customer Service duties including taking client orders, responding to enquiries, networking.
• Involvement in Company development of policies and procedures.
• Assist with all employees as required.
• Problem solving.
• Client and contractual management as relates to the role.
• Being a part of a team & Enjoy keeping busy.
• Assist the Director.
• Other duties as required.
