About Us

MiNECO are a national Mining and equipment services company in the NSW Coalfields backed by a team with 20+ years of mining experience. Mineco has operations throughout NSW, QLD & SA which provides mining services in a wide range of fields incl. equipment operations, Specialist operator and mining strategy training, engineering/technical services and Equipment maintenance.

We are currently expanding our maintenance team with experienced Plant Mechanics. This is an opportunity to work as part of a team working on in-house Mineco owned and operated large scale and civil equipment.

About the Role

  • Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT Trucks Dozers & Loaders, Hitachi excavators' other ancillary equipment including Crushers and Screens
  • Diagnostics and fault finding
  • General Maintenance, Servicing, Breakdowns, Component Change outs
  • Conduct required inspection to maximize equipment utilisation.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:


• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent


• Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry


• Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment


• Demonstrated experience with Liebherr, Hitachi and Cat large earthmoving equipment


• Diagnostic experience
