The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled and proactive Group Tax Manager to join our Finance team on a 6-month contract, with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

This position plays a pivotal role in managing King Living's global tax operations, strategy, and compliance. Reporting to the Global Financial Controller, you'll lead international tax governance and partner with senior leadership to optimise structures, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across all tax processes.

The Role

  • Develop and implement King Living's global tax strategy to support sustainable growth.
  • Oversee group-wide tax compliance across multiple regions and jurisdictions.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Lead and enhance the tax governance framework, ensuring best-practice processes.
  • Provide strategic advice on international tax, transfer pricing, and cross-border structures.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and Logistics teams to optimise tariffs, customs, and duties.
  • Monitor and interpret new tax legislation, delivering insights and recommendations.
  • Support business expansion by managing tax implications for new markets.
  • Oversee ERP (SAP) integration and tax-related process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to audit processes and ensure transparent reporting across all entities.

About You

  • CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years' post-qualification experience in corporate tax within a global group or large firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian and international taxation, including transfer pricing and cross-border transactions.
  • Strong technical background with practical experience across income tax, GST, and FBT.
  • Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Naturally curious, analytical, and collaborative — with a "can-do" attitude.
