About the role

As the Operations Manager at Lawrence Dry Cleaners Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the company's laundry and distribution operations. This is a full-time role based in Chullora, NSW 2190. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our services to customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and coordinate all laundry operation and distribution activities to meet customer demands and business objectives
  • Manage and develop a team of laundry operation personnel to maximise productivity and service quality
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and efficient processes
  • Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise supply chain and logistics operations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's strategic plans

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years' experience in a similar operations management role, preferably in the laundry industry
  • Excellent knowledge of laundry best practices
  • Strong leadership and people management skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in data analysis and the use of relevant software and technologies to drive operational efficiency
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
