Skills and Experience needed:

  • You are a strong IT specialist
  • You have technology and communications experience including law related to privacy and data security as they relate to technology and/or telecommunications matters, technology contracts, general contract law issues and intellectual property
  • You have experience with large technology contracts , procurement and tenders , including drafting and negotation
  • You have the ability to manage negotiations with multiple vendors for large IT/technology outsourcing projects
  • You have experience with SaaS, infrastructure agreements and cloud based work
  • You are commercially focussed and able to make judgement calls and recommendations
  • You have a m inimum of 6 years' experience
  • You have the a bility to hit the ground running, work autonomously and prioritise

As well as excellent legal experience you will need:

  • The right to live and work in Australia (and be based here) and hold or be able to obtain a current practising certificate
  • Willingness to engage with Ashurst via an Incorporated Legal Practice or casual employment
