Quality Engineer
to join our team and help drive excellence across one of our major construction projects. This is a key role focused on ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
About The Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits and inspections, and supporting project teams to deliver work that meets regulatory and client expectations. You'll play a vital role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain quality management systems aligned with industry standards
- Collaborate with project teams to create and execute quality plans and inspection procedures
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections, providing feedback and driving corrective actions
- Manage non-conformance processes including root cause analysis and preventive actions
- Deliver training on quality processes and standards to project teams
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality regulations and standards
- Support supplier and subcontractor quality management
- Analyse quality data and generate performance reports
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate quality into project planning and execution
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Previous experience in a Quality Engineer role within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction processes and quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
- Experience in audits, inspections, and process improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in quality tools and methodologies
