The Role

As our Line Marking Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for projects of all sizes. This role requires:

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Strong industry knowledge

  • The ability to interpret site plans and specifications efficiently

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for line marking projects (roads, car parks, warehouses, schools, etc.)

  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents

  • Conduct site visits to assess project scope and conditions

  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate pricing

  • Track ongoing tenders and follow up with clients

  • Assist in securing new business through competitive, well-prepared tenders

Requirements

  • Proven experience in line marking or a related civil estimating role

  • Strong understanding of surface preparation and line marking processes

  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings

  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Current driver's licence

Desirable

  • Experience with public tenders or local council projects

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations in Victoria
