About the opportunity

We are looking for a visionary General Manager for our Transformation Office to lead our enterprise-wide transformation agenda. This role works with the CEO and Executive team to design and co-ordinate the program to transition channel heavy services to health services that embed technology more deeply into process and workflows. The role drives strategic initiatives, oversees enterprise architecture, and manages flagship programs that shape our future – primarily by leveraging teams across the organisation, thereby driving true organisational transformation.
You will drive digital, cultural, and process transformation, work with other leaders to build a culture of adaptability across Healthdirect, manage risks, and work closely with senior leadership to deliver measurable results - all while leveraging innovative technologies and working with passionate, high-performing teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide transformation across Healthdirect in digital, cultural, and process areas.
- Develop and deliver a transformation roadmap for innovation and growth.
- Drive adoption of innovative technologies to enhance services and efficiency.
- Align goals with senior leadership and ensure accountability for results.
- Design new delivery approaches, guiding a core transformation team to support broader business transformation.
- Track progress, remove roadblocks, and ensure successful delivery.
What you will bring to the role
- Proven experience leading large-scale digital programs in health or life sciences.
- Track record of building collaborative partnerships and driving transformation.
- Expertise in enterprise and technology architecture strategy.
- Inspirational leadership with resilience and the ability to guide teams through change.
