We are looking for a motivated, experienced individual with a passion for events and exceptional customer service.

In this role you will be actively assisting the manager at both the Zin house and The Pavilion front of house operations. You will assist in managing all front of house staff and ensure the high standard of customer service is met. You will execute events from setup right through to pack down, and will monitor staff through this. You will ensure compliance with RSA requirements and OHS. You will liase with the F&B Manager, Events team and Head chef to ensure smooth operations of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Have a strong knowledge of event details and requirements and communicate effectively to staff across the business to ensure service expectations are met

· Ensure customer service excellence through visible leadership and demonstration of the expectations required of all staff

· Ensure staff are appropriately briefed and supported to perform their roles during events and FOH service

· See events through from setup, service and pack down

· Oversee RSA execution and OHS

· Work with the Experience Team in the assessment of beverage options and packages to ensure the feasibility is maintained

· Implement efficient and collective ordering systems and processes, considering the when, how and who

· Promote and encourage work health and safety thinking and behaviours among staff

· Ensure venue presentation is at the highest level

· Be able to manage front of house staff during service if necessary

· Coordinate Front of House and Back of House operations

· Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints during service

· Estimate future needs or goods for The Zin House and The Pavilion by correctly logging stock movement

· Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

· Manage the restaurants' good image and suggest ways to improve it

Requirements:

·      You will have at least 2 years of experience in events and customer service roles

·      Previous leadership experience

·      Eye for detail

·      Passion for providing exceptional quality of customer service

·      Excellent communication and client engagement abilities

· Self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills

· Comfortable using digital tools for reporting and ordering

· Developed leadership, motivational and people skills
