Vantage Point Roofing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metal Roofing Leading Hand to join our family-owned company. As a well-recognised industry leader specialising in domestic and commercial metal roofing, we pride ourselves on delivery exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding service to our clients.

The Metal Roofing Leading Hand will play a crucial role in co-ordinating and managing their crew on site to ensure the highest possible standard of installation or metal roofing on both commercial and residential projects is achieved to exceed client's expectations.  Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strong leadership and accountability for their crew in all aspects of metal roofing projects
  • Ensuring all installations are in accordance with the Building Code of Australia
  • High understanding and technical knowledge of all aspects of roofing, including roof take-offs and drawing flashings
  • Ensuring high standards and quality workmanship in all roofing installations and repairs
  • Ensuring adherence to all Workplace Health and Safety policies
  • Adhering to project timelines and co-ordinating resources effectively
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Ensuring adherence to business operations systems and procedures

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Roof Plumbing (Mandatory)
  • A minimum of 5 years of roof plumbing experience, with a focus on metal roofing
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivery high quality work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
  • Valid White Card, EWP (Elevated Work Platform) and Working at Heights Certificates
