As a Management Accountant your duties will include:
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget.
- Preparation of monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget.
- Supporting department managers as a 'Finance Business Partner' to understand their unit's financial performance against budget.
- Support affiliated kindergartens with budgeting, fee setting and providing support and guidance to committees on financial viability.
- Ensure timely delivery of monthly reports and analysis, including assisting with the CFO report.
- Support the implementation and utilisation of business intelligence systems.
- Provide training across the business to help non-financially minded employees gain a better understanding of their financial performance.
- Prepare grant/funding acquittals and ensure on time submission where required.
- Proactively identify, drive and implement process improvements.
- Ensure on time completion of statutory reporting, review inputs from other accountants/assistant accountants to ensure accuracy, attend to audit queries.
- Provide financial analysis, guidance and support to the business where required.
- Work across departments to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, managing associated risks, evolving frameworks, and representing these to senior management.

What you'll bring:
Qualifications:
- Degree in an Accounting, Commerce or Business-Related Field
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), CIMA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
Experience:
- Experience in a Management Accountant position in a medium-to-large organisation delivering financial reporting and analysis that meets business needs.
- A track record of identifying and understanding financial and non-financial trends and data and developing business improvements
