Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Moonee Ponds, VIC. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, conducting financial analysis, and providing strategic financial advice. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will mentor junior staff and support business development activities.

Qualifications

• Strong financial accounting and financial analysis skills
• Experience in tax preparation and compliance
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of superannuation and business mentoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly Xero
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CA qualification preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in business development and client relationship management
