What You'll Be Doing
The Administrative Officer provides administration and clerical support, including the management of the hospital switchboard which to support quality communication across the facility.

Selection Criteria

  • Ability to work effectively in a high volume work area, whilst managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with a wide variety of people, both internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated competence in computing and computer software packages including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) with a willingness to acquire new skills as required.
  • Support the manager and team with quality activities to ensure ongoing improvement.
  • Understanding and commitment to providing excellent customer service, whilst maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to exercise flexibility and remain composed in extreme/emergency circumstances.
  • Motivated and able to take initiative within the bounds of a work role and capacity to work with minimal direct supervision.
  • 8 Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
