About the Firm

This locally owned boutique practice has built a strong reputation on the Sunshine Coast for delivering exceptional service to a loyal client base of small-to-medium businesses, investors, and family groups. You'll be part of a tight-knit team that enjoys what they do and takes pride in their work — without the corporate red tape.

The Role

You'll work closely with clients across a range of industries, providing hands-on accounting and advisory support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for SMEs, trusts, and individuals
  • Managing client relationships and providing proactive business advice
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior accountants and mentoring their development
  • Identifying process improvements and opportunities for value-added services

You'll report directly to the Partners, who take an open-door approach and encourage autonomy and innovation.

About You

You're a confident accountant who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes. You're also looking for a role that offers flexibility, genuine progression, and the chance to make an impact.

You'll ideally bring:

  • 4+ years' experience in public practice accounting
  • CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
  • Solid working knowledge of Xero and cloud-based accounting tools
  • Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
