
Principal Network Engineer

As a senior technical leader, you'll architect modern networking solutions in Azure, manage performance across hybrid environments, and collaborate with top-tier partners like Enablis, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, and Aruba.
This is a strategic and hands-on role, driving the shift to "Network as a Service" and enabling secure, seamless connectivity across branches, offices, cloud workloads, and remote users.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement our Network-as-a-Service model, modernising branch and office connectivity using Aruba and Palo Alto SASE platforms.
- Build and manage Azure networking components including ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, and secure edge connectivity.
- Resolve complex issues, enhance monitoring and resilience, and improve incident response across network services.
- Develop and maintain the enterprise network roadmap, aligning with cloud, security, and business goals.
- Oversee technical delivery and service outcomes with key partners, ensuring SLA compliance and solution excellence.
Who You'll Work With
- Internal Teams: Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Platforms, Cybersecurity, Architecture, and Technology & Operations.
- External Partners: Manage relationships and delivery with Microsoft, Enablis, Palo Alto Networks, Aruba, and other vendors.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in enterprise networking and hybrid cloud environments, especially Azure.
- Deep technical expertise in network architecture, performance optimisation, and service delivery.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Aruba, Palo Alto SASE, and modern network monitoring tools.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
