Alzheimer's Queensland (AQ) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with dementia, the frail and elderly, and their families. We pride ourselves on innovation and exceeding client expectations to ensure an improved quality of life for those we support.

The Role

As a Client Advisor you will be responsible for managing client referrals, making initial contact, conducting initial assessments, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. Your ability to provide exceptional service and build relationships with key stakeholders will be crucial to ensuring positive client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct needs assessments and assist with reviews of existing clients.
  • Manage client intakes and referrals efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with Managers and Coordinators to facilitate client onboarding and ensure all required documentation is completed.
  • Provide timely responses to client and family inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation as part of the onboarding process.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

About You

  • Proven experience in client intake, customer service, or a similar role within aged care, allied health, or a related field.
  • Strong technological proficiency with the ability to navigate databases and manage client records.
  • Excellent networking and collaboration skills with the ability to engage with a range of professionals and referral agencies.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a supportive team environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to client engagement, ensuring services align with individual needs.
  • This is a permanent full time role 76 hours per fortnight based onsite at our Upper Mount Gravatt head office.
  • Ability to work rotating weekends

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Current National Police Certificate clearance (or willingness to obtain and renew every 3 years).
