Human Resources Administrator

**We are excited to offer a Temporary Fixed-Term opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator to join our Brickworks team in Horsley Park, NSW. This role will commence in mid-January 2026 to backfill parental leave for up to 12 months. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative HR team that values teamwork and professional growth. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail and enjoys contributing to a positive workplace culture.
This role would suit a recent HR graduate looking to gain valuable skills and experience to develop their early career in Human Resources.
You will be responsible for delivering day-to-day HR administration across recruitment, employee contracts, onboarding and offboarding, compliance, invoicing and HR reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to HR projects and programs while supporting the wider HR team.
Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and distribute employment contracts and variations
- Maintain HR records, employee files, registers and databases
- Organise sign-on for apprentices and process incentive claims
- Manage compliance training systems (Safetrac) and annual rollouts
- Coordinate pre-employment checks
- Assist with recruitment activities as required
- Manage HR purchase orders, process invoices and set up vendor accounts
- Prepare HR documents such as salary reviews and education assistance letters
- Respond to internal and external HR enquiries via the HR inbox
- Generate and update organisational charts and HR reports
- Support onboarding process for new employees
- Contribute to HR projects and programs as required
- Oversee the 'Connect' internal communication platform, including publishing staff announcements, preparing reports, maintaining dashboards and updating the HR page
- Provide support in planning and coordinating company events
- Undertake additional duties as required such as, during periods of leave of other staff
Success Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline or relevant experience
- Knowledge of HR contracts, employee lifecycle and compliance
- Experience using HR systems
- Comfortable with Excel and MS Office Suite & able to learn advanced functions as required
- ERP system experience (e.g., JD Edwards) is desirable – training will be provided
- High attention to detail, confidentiality and time management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders
