The Role
The ABC is looking for a Newsletter Producer to help produce ABC News newsletters that inform and inspire our audience. You'll collaborate with teams across the ABC to grow our subscriber base, boost engagement, and build loyal audiences through locally relevant stories delivered straight to inboxes.

This role is open to producers based in a regional area across Australia.

The Job

  • Support the Lifestyle Editor in delivering engaging, high-quality newsletters that connect communities and grow audiences.
  • Edit, produce, and distribute newsletters in Salesforce and Braze to meet content and quality standards.
  • Collaborate across teams to share ideas, improve content, and drive engagement.
  • Analyse performance data to grow subscribers and strengthen audience connections.
  • Provide technical and editorial support to maintain newsletter quality and consistency.
  • Help ensure newsletters reflect Australia's diversity and local stories.

About You
You'll have:

  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Strong digital production and content skills, including writing and editing for online audiences.
  • Sound editorial judgment and understanding of media law.
  • Great communicator and team player with a positive, collaborative mindset.
  • Skilled problem-solver with Salesforce or Core Media experience preferred.
  • Organised and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Passionate about creating content that reflects Australia's diversity.
