About the Role

We're seeking experienced heavy diesel professionals to join our teaching team. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality training and assessment to students preparing for careers in heavy vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair. Whether you're an experienced trainer or a seasoned technician ready to share your knowledge, this is your chance to shape the next generation of diesel mechanics.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess training in heavy diesel systems and servicing
  • Prepare engaging learning materials and maintain vocational currency
  • Support students on campus and/or in the workplace
  • Apply compliance and quality assurance standards
  • Collaborate with industry and promote programs

What you'll bring

  • Current industry skills and experience in heavy diesel mechanics
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and mentoring abilities
  • Commitment to inclusive, student-focused education
  • Ability to adapt to change and embrace innovation
