The Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Property/Conveyancing Lawyer to take charge of conveyancing and property law matters in Queensland. This role provides genuine autonomy, strong support from a dedicated leadership team, and exceptional opportunities for career progression for the right candidate.

You will work closely with partners and have the opportunity to oversee skilled conveyancers and paralegals. The position can be tailored to suit a driven lawyer who is seeking more independence, a better work-life balance, or the chance to establish their own profile within the profession.

Depending on your level of experience, your job title can range from Solicitor to Senior Associate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse range of QLD conveyancing and property transactions from start to finish (including residential and commercial sales/purchases, leasing, business transactions, developments, subdivisions, and PEXA registrations).
  • Provide clear, practical, and strategic legal advice to clients with a personal touch.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, referrers and stakeholders.
  • Supervise, guide, and mentor junior team members assisting you.

The Candidate

  • Minimum 2+ years PQE in QLD conveyancing and property law.
  • Confident in running matters autonomously and providing direction to support staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a client service mindset.
  • Experience in related practice areas (wills & estates, estate administration, family law) is desirable but not essential.
  • Current practising certificate.
