The Role

As a critical member of the team, you will play an important role in supporting the company's rapid growth. The team focuses on developing mechanical engineering solutions for HVAC projects for clients in our specialist market.

This role offers a structured training path that includes exposure to Asana project management software, excel automation/coding, CFD, Matterport 3D scanning, and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Design and present HVAC solutions, Bluebeam sketches, drawings, and calculations
• Liaising effectively with stakeholders, clients, and contractors
• Mentor junior mechanical engineers and review their work for quality and accuracy.
• Attend meetings, site visits, and progress updates to promote smooth workflow and professional relationships.
• Demonstrate a commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Possess the ability to work independently and progress to leading a team and managing their workload and tasks.

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in building services mechanical design engineering.
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC design
• Proven proficiency in using Camel, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam for HVAC design
• Comprehensive understanding of Australian building codes and standards
• Ability to adapt to a highly process-driven and technology-assisted work environment
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Mandarin speaking languages would be advantageous but not a must.
