The Opportunity
Join our Healing and Wellbeing team to deliver evidence-based, culturally safe mental health care across the lifespan. You'll provide centre-based sessions and community outreach within Toowoomba, the Darling Downs and surrounding areas, using recovery-focused, strengths-based approaches for presentations such as grief and loss, depression and anxiety, substance misuse, trauma (including complex trauma) and relationship challenges.
Key responsibilities
Provide assessment, formulation, and psychological/therapeutic interventions (individuals, families, groups).
Deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed care in clinic and outreach settings.
Collaborate with GPs, program teams, Elders and partner services to coordinate care.
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement.
Participate in supervision and ongoing professional development.

Committed to reflective practice and continuous learning.
Essential
Current AHPRA registration (Psychologist) or AASW membership/eligibility (Social Worker).
Current Blue Card Holder
Current Driver's Licence
Ability to travel for outreach.
Highly regarded
Cultural capability and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Training in trauma-informed and strengths-based models; group facilitation experience.
Experience in primary care or community mental health settings.
