Mid Boomi Developer
. This is a long-term contractual position.

Work Location:
Sydney or Melbourne (Hybrid - 5 days per fortnight in Office)

Position Description:

As a
Mid Boomi Developer,
you will be accountable for:

  • Providing systems analysis, technical recommendations and inputs to project planning, integration requirements and design solutions.
  • Developing, unit-testing, and deploying integration services including the service definitions to support enhancements and projects.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvements to services, environments, and processes.
  • Creating and maintaining integration design document and interface specification articulating the data mapping, data formats and data transformations between source and target systems.
  • Ensuring that development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, development best practices and guideline.
  • Performing day-to-day operational activities such as health check, incident and problem resolution, release, and change management.
  • Providing advice, coaching and knowledge transfer to junior staff as required.
  • Working collaboratively across IT teams and with stakeholders to meet desired outcomes within timeframes set.

Qualifications and experience

  • A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or other relevant degree is desirable.
  • 2+ years of experience in developing and deploying integration solutions using Boomi.
  • 3+ years of experience with Web services and API (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, XSLT).
  • Experience in designing API using SwaggerHub.
  • Experience with ReadyAPI testing platform.
  • Experience with AWS API Gateway is a plus.
  • Experience using cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the Agile methodology and agile development, including the use of agile management tools such as TFS, GIT, JIRA.
  • Experience using CICD/DevOps, continuous integration, automated unit testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to clearly communicate technical details to business.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
