We are seeking a
Commercial Supervisor
to join our client's team in Townsville. This role is central to delivering glazing and aluminium projects on time, to specification, and in line with safety and quality standards. You will act as the connection between the workshop, site teams, suppliers and clients, making sure projects run smoothly and people have the support they need to succeed.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with glazing experience who enjoys coordinating people and projects, interpreting drawings, and building positive working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret plans to prepare accurate measures for fabrication and quoting
  • Coordinate project schedules including fabrication, delivery, and installation
  • Work closely with internal estimators, external suppliers, and fabricators to ensure timelines are met
  • Lead weekly coordination meetings with the administration team
  • Support, guide, and lead a team of commercial fitters on-site to deliver safe and successful outcomes
  • Promote professionalism, teamwork, and a strong safety culture across all projects

Skills, Attributes & Qualifications

  • Background and trade qualifications relevant to glazing
  • Strong communicator with good problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
  • Solid attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
  • Mandatory: White Card
  • Desirable: MR Licence, EWP, Working at Heights tickets
  • 2+ years experience in a similar supervisory or project coordination role
