Job Title: Technical Account Manager (Events & Production)

Location: Landsborough, Sunshine Coast

Type: Permanent part-time, 8 day fortnight

Job Summary:We're seeking a Technical Account Manager to act as the main point of contact for our clients, overseeing their event production needs from brief to delivery. You'll manage client relationships, prepare tailored quotations, and coordinate with our production team to ensure successful technical execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and understanding event requirements.
  • Prepare and present accurate technical quotations, including equipment, labor, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with event managers, technicians, and production staff to deliver seamless events.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients and management.
  • Use Rentman to manage quotations, schedule crew, vehicles and equipment allocations.
  • Troubleshoot issues proactively and communicate solutions clearly to clients.

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in account management or client services in the events/production industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical production equipment and setup requirements (audio systems, video displays, lighting rigs, staging, and power distribution).
  • Experience preparing and presenting technical proposals/quotations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Rentman or similar event/project management software.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa required.
  • Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport.
