Our Client:

We are working with a well known mining services contractor with multiple projects throughout WA. As a result of increased work scopes they are seeking a Training Advisor to join them as they enhance their footprint in the WA mining sector.

The Opportunity:

You will be an integral part of a dynamic and committed team working closely with mobile plant operators providing training, assessment, advice, guidance and support on the ground.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in workplace training delivery and assessment in mining.
  • Proficient Road Train (triple & quad) experience including side tipper.
  • Proficient knowledge with Loaders (up to and including 990K).
  • Proficient knowledge with Dozers, Graders & Excavators (desirable).
Essential Criteria:
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment either Version 16 or 22 only.
  • Thorough understanding of the requirements of operating within a compliance-based environment such as mining.
  • Record keeping and attention to detail in accordance with Standards for RTOs 2015.
  • Flexibility to travel domestically as required.
  • Current and Valid MC Driver's Licence (Unrestricted).
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (desirable).
  • Frontline management certification (desirable).
  • Utilise a computer and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exhibit strong organisation and planning skills.
  • Communicate effectively and confidently with people at all levels.
