Data & AI Delivery Lead – SQL Server / CRM Migration to Databricks

At LTI Mindtree, we partner with global enterprises to deliver digital transformation at scale—combining deep domain expertise with cutting-edge Data, Cloud, and AI solutions. As part of our continued growth in the Data & AI space, we're seeking an experienced Data & AI Delivery Lead to drive one of our high-impact transformation programs focused on migrating legacy SQL Server and CRM platforms into Databricks.

As a
Data & AI Delivery Lead
, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding the end-to-end delivery of cloud data migration and modernisation initiatives. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, architects, and analysts, ensuring technical excellence, stakeholder alignment, and on-time delivery. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on technical insight, and strong client engagement skills.

Requirements:

• Lead data modernisation programs focused on
  migrating SQL Server and CRM data ecosystems into Databricks
  .
• Define and manage project delivery roadmaps, timelines, and governance frameworks.
• Oversee architecture design, ETL pipelines, and data quality frameworks to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Cloud, AI, and Analytics specialists to enable advanced insights and ML capabilities post-migration.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align data delivery outcomes with strategic objectives.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, compliance, and performance optimisation.
• Mentor and guide technical delivery teams across onshore and offshore models.

Attributes:

• 10 + yrs experience in data engineering, data delivery, or AI-driven transformation projects.
• Proven experience leading migration initiatives from SQL Server or CRM systems to Databricks (or similar data lakehouse platforms).
• Strong technical understanding of Databricks, Azure Data Services, ETL pipelines, and data modelling principles.
• Experience in end-to-end delivery management, including estimation, planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML enablement, data integration, and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of managing complex enterprise data programs.
