About the role

The NSW / ACT State Sales Manager is accountable and responsible for the deployment of InfraBuild Reinforcing's Sales Strategy and the performance of the NSW / ACT Sales Team. The successful candidate must have significant experience in the construction or industrial market and have established Tier 1 client relationships. This is a high profile role in market and the incumbent will also work with our Project Delivery, Detailing and Operations Teams.

This role is based at our St Marys site and the incumbent will also operate from the InfraBuild HQ in the Sydney CBD.

The responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and developing InfraBuild Reinforcing's market position by building on our existing and new client relationships and expanding market share
  • Ensuring multi tiered relationships are in place with key customers and industry bodies
  • Leading and developing the Sales Team with a focus on coaching
  • Developing and negotiating bids to ensure a strong pipeline of work
  • Responsibility for budgets, forecasts and business plans

You will be passionate and enthusiastic about the building industry and what InfraBuild has to offer in the market. Your previous experience and demonstrated success in sales leadership will be highly advantageous success in this role.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong and successful sales background within the building or construction industry
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in negotiating and securing deals
  • Ability to develop and implement tactical sales plans to deliver against business objectives
  • Track record of leading high performance teams with a focus on coaching
  • Sound IT skills and experience using a CRM
  • Aspiration to grow with our business
