The Role:
We are seeking talented and experienced Engineers for two roles in our Suspension Development team: An Engineer and a Senior Engineer to join the team responsible for developing cutting-edge suspension systems and off-road solutions used in some of the world's toughest environments.
You'll work on projects across the full product development lifecycle for suspension and vehicle dynamics - from concept through to validation and release.
Key responsibilities:
- Work on projects across the design, development, and optimisation of suspension systems and vehicle dynamics components for off-road vehicles, ensuring performance, comfort, and durability.
- Testing, validation, and refinement of suspension systems, ensuring they meet ARB's high standards for quality, safety, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Design Rules (ADR) and international standards (ISO, SAE, UNECE) related to suspension systems and vehicle dynamics.
- Analysis and improvement of vehicle handling, stability, and ride performance under various off-road conditions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product development, manufacturing, and marketing) to integrate new technologies and solutions into ARB's suspension offerings.
- Manage project timelines and resources, ensuring suspension projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes, incorporating relevant advancements into the suspension product development process.
About you:
- Proven experience in suspension design and vehicle dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of suspension systems, vehicle dynamics, off-road vehicle performance, and related engineering principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of Australian Design Rules (ADR) and international standards (ISO, SAE, UNECE) for vehicle dynamics and suspension systems.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools for vehicle dynamics (e.g., Adams, Simpack).
- Familiarity with testing methods and instrumentation used in suspension and vehicle dynamics development.
- A passion for off-road vehicles, motorsports, and adventure driving, with a deep understanding of the unique requirements of 4x4 systems.
