Eliott Engineering is an Australian owned and run steel engineering business operating in Kilsyth, Melbourne. Eliott Engineering has specialised in light to heavy sheet metal, plate steel and structural engineering for around 100 years.

An excellent opportunity currently exists for an experienced Machine Operator to join our busy team at Kilysth.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for setting, operating and programming the machinery. This position may also be involved in warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes and forklifts.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Machine Operator (Section Rolling) experience within the industry is desired but not essential

  • Previous experience operating overhead cranes is desired but not essential

  • Be able to read basic measuring equipment & engineering drawings

  • Have good communication skills both written and verbal

  • Be great with attention to detail

  • "Can-do" attitude and honest work ethic

  • Have a current forklift license
