About The Role
Ventia's operations and Services Contract have a newly created position for a
Business Analyst
within the Field Module – Connections team.

The
Business Analyst
will be responsible to analyse business processes, data and systems to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions, ultimately aiming to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability across the performance of the project.

This is a permanent Full time position and can be based out of our Victorian, Queenland or New South Wales offices.

Other Role Responsibilities

  • Standardisation of data and systems
  • Support for sustainable improvements in productivity across the project
  • Organisational and departmental compliance
  • First point of Functional & Technical escalation within the support team for further analysis on system or report related issues
  • Liaise with Ventia IT support both offshore and local in resolving Functional, technical and user related issues
  • Creation & Monitoring of PowerBI. SMAX and other system dashboards
  • Ensuring Support processes and workflows lead to best business practice outcomes
  • Improving existing processes and workflows
  • Actively participating in UAT
  • Creating workflow documents for existing and new processes identified, likely utilising VISIO
  • Delivering outstanding service to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all reporting and data are of high integrity

About You
To Be successful in your application you will have a degree in a computer science, Engineering or similar degree accompanied with experience working as a Business Analyst in a larger complex organisation accompanied with:

  • SAP (SMAX/SNOW) and BI Certification or equivalent experience desirable
  • Proficient in database usage, Microsoft Excel, Visio, SAP, and related enterprise systems.
  • Proficient contract commercial understanding and experience
  • An ability to prioritise tasks effectively and produce quality work
  • Advanced problem solving and decision-making skills; able to analyse, synthesize and select the appropriate solution from a range of competing solutions
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Sound knowledge of UAT and Integration testing include Implementation, Roll out and Post Go live support.
