Fractional Ecommerce CMO Position

Ideal Background

  • 10+ years in marketing leadership, ideally at CMO or Senior Marketer level
  • 10+ years in ecommerce and DTC
  • Grown a brands rom 7 to 8 Figures
  • Roles starting from only 1 days per week
  • Strong expertise in brand positioning, go-to-market strategy, and multi-channel growth.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, and analytics.
  • Experience managing cross-functional marketing teams (content, acquisition, retention, creative).
  • Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and marketing ROI measurement.
  • Comfortable working fractionally remotely.
  • Based in Melbourne or Sydney (optional, but a plus).

  • Lead and execute brand growth strategies across acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Oversee channel performance and align campaigns with revenue goals.
  • Manage marketing budgets, forecasting, and reporting to the executive team.
  • Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to align marketing with business priorities.
  • Advise on marketing tech stack, data, and analytics for better decision-making.
  • Provide hands-on leadership while empowering in-house teams and agencies.
