About this Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated candidate to join our team as the Distribution Centre Coordinator within the afternoon shift at the Rowville Site. Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the logistics team on site and ensure you lead and support your employees, in line with business direction and strategy to ensure optimum customer service is delivered whilst ensuring safety, quality, environment and efficient productivity.

  • Coordinate Shift Operations Oversee daily operations including troubleshooting, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth shift handovers across production, cold room, and transport teams.
  • Ensure Accurate Timekeeping and Documentation Enter employee timekeeping into SAP Payroll and ensure all shift reports, log sheets, and associated documentation are completed, checked, and signed off.
  • Maintain Product Quality and Compliance Manage quality control processes including temperature checks, product codes, shelf-life monitoring, and handling of leakers, labels, and caps. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Dispatch Ensure stock rotation (FIFO), accurate receipting of incoming goods, and timely, complete loading of trucks to meet dispatch schedules.
  • Promote Safety and Continuous Improvement Foster a safety-first culture by promoting zero injuries, reporting near misses, and supporting incident investigations. Encourage continuous improvement initiatives and participation in project committees.
  • Oversee Labour and Staffing Efficiently manage labour resources including casual staff needs, duty allocation, meal breaks, feedback, and disciplinary actions in consultation with management.
  • Monitor Operational Performance Ensure operations meet budgetary guidelines and business plan objectives, while maintaining proactive communication between departments to support overall site deliverables.
  • Ensure Environmental Program Compliance Lead environmental initiatives, including staff training and adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.

About You:

  • 3-4 years' experience in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Operations, ideally within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • 1-2 years of proven people leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
  • A Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent is preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong inventory management and data analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
