Your new role and responsibilities

·       Partner with national sales and fulfilment teams, to manage purchasing requirements end to end

·       Liaise with overseas and local suppliers, to coordinate inbound logistics, clearance and delivery

·       Prioritise daily scheduling of purchase orders, made to order, indent orders, and freight

·       Use MRP and other tools to analyze trend, prepare forecast and optimize stock holding

·       Manage inventory control, conduct cycle and ad hoc stock count

·       Prepare reporting of spend on key accounts, to highlight and negotiate possible cost savings

·       Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement and logistics SOPs, system update and ad hoc reporting

·       Support product management, to improve the quality and integrity of master product data file

·       Use your specialist knowledge, to engage in cross functional activities and support continuous improvements

Your skills and experience

For you to succeed in your new role, you will have:

·       A minimum of five years as the purchasing/logistics specialist in supply chain management

·       Professionally trained in Supply Chain Management or equivalent industry experience

·       SAP experience would be beneficial, in purchasing, production and associated BOMs

·       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel spreadsheeting, crystal reports and its likes
