Position Overview

We are currently seeking a female Disability Support Worker to provide in-home and community support to a female client based in Morphett Vale. The ideal candidate will be reliable, respectful, and passionate about making a positive difference in someone's daily life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids

  • Support with meal preparation and household tasks

  • Transport and accompany client to appointments and community activities

  • Monitor and report on the client's wellbeing

  • Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the client, their family, and the support team

Requirements

  • Female support worker (as per client preference)

  • Previous experience in disability support or similar role (preferred)

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability)

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)

  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle

  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (as required by health regulations)

  • Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
