AI Solution Architect - Conversational AI / LLM Platforms

Sydney CBD | 6-12-Month Rolling Contract | Open Daily Rates

We're working with a major ASX-listed company on one of Australia's most ambitious digital transformation programs. As part of their Conversational AI initiative, the focus is on building next-generation AI-driven customer engagement and operational intelligence - transforming how the organisation interacts with millions of customers across contact centres and digital channels.

This is a newly created, strategic role where you'll take the lead in shaping and delivering custom Large Language Model (LLM) platforms and applied AI solutions that will define the future of customer experience at scale.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the architecture and engineering of custom LLM-based platforms for text summarisation, next-best-action, and real-time optimisation in the contact centre.
  • Building and delivering an AWS Bedrock instance as the backbone of enterprise LLM capability.
  • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to provision and scale AI environments.
  • Working hands-on across DevOps and AI engineering - from platform build through to LLM configuration and optimisation.
  • Designing and deploying advanced AI patterns such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and other real-world use cases.
  • Partnering closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to drive both operational efficiency and customer experience innovation.

About you

  • A proven AI/LLM Solution Architect or Engineer with real-world deployment experience.
  • Hands-on with LLM platforms (AWS Bedrock strongly preferred; OpenAI, Anthropic, or Vertex also relevant).
  • Comfortable making strategic design decisions while remaining hands-on in delivery.
  • Experienced in bridging infrastructure (DevOps/IaC) with AI configuration and tuning.
  • Exposure to customer-facing platforms (digital, CRM, or contact centre) is highly regarded.
  • Background in large-scale enterprise AI programs (e.g. banking, telco, SaaS) would be a strong fit.
