We've partnered with a high growth, dynamic medical business who have a strong presence across Australia, operating across the Eastern seaboard with plans to expand in the coming years. Ingrained in the DNA of the organisation, they're a people first business with customers at the forefront of everything they do. The need for a talented Financial Accountant has arisen to join a highly impressive finance team. Reporting into the Head of Finance, this person's duties will include:

  • Responsibility for the month end close - preparing month end financials and reconciliations
  • Day to day transactional accounting
  • Become a trusted partner to the wider business, engaging with, and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Supporting with monthly management reports and board reporting requirements
  • Posting journals for fortnightly pay run
  • FBT, GST, & Payroll tax requirements
  • Ad-hoc project work
  • Supervise & provide training to junior team members

This is a great first commercial role for someone coming out of the Big 4, or a top tier chartered accounting firm. This role will suit someone with a sound technical understanding, who wants to play a key role in the future growth of an organisation, and demonstrate an ability to become a strong finance partner to the wider business moving forward.
