About the role
Join the Humanity Health Group as a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner in our Care Squared brand. In this part-time or full-time role, you will work closely with our clients to provide high-quality support, with a focus on promoting positive behaviours and improving overall wellbeing. Your role will be instrumental in helping people with disability or complex needs lead more fulfilling and independent lives.
What you'll be doing

- Implement positive behaviour support strategies to help clients build life skills and reduce challenging behaviours
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and support workers, to ensure coordinated care
- Provide training and guidance to support staff to effectively implement behaviour support plans
- Monitor client progress, evaluate outcomes, and make adjustments to support plans as needed
- Maintain detailed case notes and contribute to the development of client-centred resources
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices
What we're looking for
- A registration as a behaviour support practitioner. Only candidates that hold a current Behaviour Support Practitioner registration will be shortlisted for this role
- Extensive experience in providing behaviour support services, ideally in a disability or mental health setting
- In-depth knowledge of positive behaviour support principles and ability to develop and implement tailored support plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for making a positive difference in people's lives
What we offer
At Humanity Health Group, we are dedicated to supporting our employees and creating a positive work environment. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
- Flexible work arrangements and work-from-home options
- Comprehensive training and professional development opportunities
- Employee wellness initiatives, such as fitness classes and wellbeing workshops
- A supportive and inclusive team culture that values collaboration and innovation
