AIM Therapy Job Description AIM Therapy is expanding We are excited to include Positive Behaviour Support in our services.
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner with current suitability at the Proficient or Advanced level to provide positive behaviour support services.
On a daily basis, you will: Assist NDIS participants, along with their families and carers, to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within complex support contexts.
Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in home and community settings.
Ensure individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions, and strengths.
Build the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants—families, carers, friends, etc.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
