About the roleReporting to the Manager Youth Mental Health Services, your responsibilities include providing clinical services as one of the first and ongoing contact points for young people accessing the Gippsland Youth Enhanced Service (YES) service. You will build positive relationships with young people and their families, manage a clinical caseload, and complete bio-psycho-social and risk assessments in consultation with senior staff. The role involves delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, participating in clinical review and supervision, and ensuring high standards of practice. As part of a multidisciplinary team and the YES community of practice, you will also work with community and partner services to provide holistic and integrated care in line with the YES model and RAV policies.
This role is located at Traralgon and is a temporary part-time role working 4 days per week (0.8FTE) with evening shift(s). The base salary range for this position is $98k-$105k (pro-rata) per annum.
About you
- Degree in an allied health discipline (social work, mental health nursing, occupational therapy or psychology) with current AHPRA registration or full AASW membership.
- Demonstrated experience working with young people and diverse communities, including rural, CALD, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, and LGBTQI backgrounds.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities; current driver's licence and access to a car.
